Our Turkish Revani cake is baked with original recipe but with less sugar. This cake originated from the Ottoman empire and it was and still is a well known dessert. The popularity has not decreased, as you find these cakes also in the Greek and Arab world. You'll find it with the name Basbousa which is basically Revani, but with a Greek / Arab twist to it.
